Tamara has 23 years of sales experience and over 12 years as a startup business consultant. Her expertise is guiding businesses through their growth and expansion journeys, particularly in the technology sector. Tamara’s career includes a 13-year tenure as the Business Development Director in emerging markets at Microsoft. During this time, she focused on developing and consulting tech companies in the LATAM territory, helping them grow and scale their businesses despite limited resources. Her ability to navigate demanding environments and emerging markets proved invaluable as she successfully guided over 50 technology companies to establish or expand their presence.
Since joining Business Atelier as a founding partner in October 2019, Tamara has been an integral part of the team, contributing her extensive experience and knowledge to assisting more than 275 companies. Her primary focus has been on helping businesses get established, grow their sales, expand their operations, and optimize their overall performance.Guiding her team to develop proven strategies to increase capital and secure alternative funds, including incentives, grants, and investors.

Raisa Ugarte is the Director of the Entrepreneurship Department at Business Atelier, where she leads the strategic design and execution of programs focused on business growth, access to capital, and innovation. Since joining the company in 2022, she has successfully guided over 50 entrepreneurs through the full entrepreneurship development program and supported more than 500 participants in the Immersion 360 initiative, leading to 212 completed business plans. With a strong background in communications and a passion for education, Raisa specializes in developing innovative, high-impact learning experiences for Spanish-speaking professionals. Her work includes designing and launching multiple academic programs and digital platforms, most notably the Groundwork Premier Access platform.
Before joining Business Atelier, Raisa spent five years at Impactivo Consulting, where she led communication strategies and eLearning initiatives for public health training projects funded by organizations such as the CDC, ASTHO, and the Puerto Rico Department of Health. She trained over 2,400 professionals and elevated participant satisfaction to over 90%. Her cross-sector experience spans project coordination, client success, digital education, and leadership development. Raisa brings a collaborative, strategic approach to every project, combining deep expertise in business development, digital learning, and communication to empower entrepreneurs and drive impact.
Mariany leads the Development & Strategy Department at Business Atelier, overseeing the structuring, development, and continuous improvement of all internal and external processes within the company.
With over ten years of experience in the service industry, Mariany specializes in streamlining and standardizing operational workflows to enhance efficiency across all areas of Business Atelier. Throughout her career, she has successfully led projects that have positively impacted more than 250 merchants, optimized internal processes for companies with close to 60 employees, and helped develop their skills and professional growth.
Her leadership is evident in key initiatives such as the creation of an internal training and onboarding platform, designed to ensure excellence, continuous learning, and sustainable growth for businesses. Mariany seamlessly integrates her academic expertise and practical experience to deliver effective and forward-thinking solutions.
